Friends of Rugby at BMGS

Formed in 2005, the aim of the Friends of Rugby at BMGS association is to provide support to the Master-in-Charge of Rugby for the maintenance of the tradition of rugby at BMGS.
This support occurs in the following ways:
•By fostering and promoting the development and playing of rugby at BMGS.
•Promoting the School’s rugby traditions by assisting in bringing together parents, friends and teaching staff to acknowledge the physical, educational and social benefits of the pursuit of rugby at BMGS.
•By working cooperatively with the administrative, academic and maintenance staff of BMGS as well as other interested groups within the school community for the benefit of the school’s rugby program.
•By publicising the role, goals and activities of FORBMGS through maintaining a presence at school events, distributing a quarterly newsletter and hosting of relevant information on the school’s website.
•By organising social functions to enhance the spirit of BMGS rugby.
•By undertaking fundraising activities to provide resources for the promotion, development and conduct of rugby at BMGS.
